I love when I write something for a class and then do the reading and the reading is exactly what I already wrote about. This week I started my contemporary africa research paper on the structural violence of denying MSM HIV/AIDS treatment in Africa and how it makes women more vulnerable when they already have the highest HIV/AIDS rate. I argue gender-sex distinctions being a product of colonialism in africa, so does the article for this week; I had no idea. I focus on ‘homophobia’ they focus on women. This happens a lot. 33 days till graduation. 39 days till I move to Africa.
